Delete your Vitola account
You can delete your Vitola account and the data associated with it at any time — directly in the app, or by contacting us if you no longer have access to it.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (immediate)
- Open Vitola and go to Settings.
- Under Data, tap Delete account.
- Type the confirmation word to confirm.
Deletion is immediate and permanent: a server-side cascade removes your data from every user-owned table, deletes your sign-in record, and the app wipes the local copy on your device. Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription — manage subscriptions in your App Store / Google Play account settings.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app, email privacy@vitola.my from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We process out-of-app deletion requests within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in record
- Your collection
- Your journal entries, including any photos you attached
- Your reviews
- Your AI sommelier chat history
- Your taste profile and preferences
What may be retained
We may retain aggregate, non-identifying statistics and records we are legally required to keep (for example purchase and compliance records). Server backups, where they exist, age out on our normal backup cycle. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
